Privacy Policy
Icefish Paint (“the app”) is a native drawing app for Mac developed and published by Icefish Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. We designed it to be private by default.
We do not collect your data
The app does not collect, transmit to Icefish, sell, or share your personal information. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no in-app analytics operated by us.
Everything stays on your Mac
Your images and app preferences are stored locally on your Mac. Icefish Paint does not upload your images to Icefish servers, and we do not operate any cloud sync for the app. Core drawing and editing features work offline.
Files you open and save
The app only reads and writes the image files you explicitly choose to open, save, or export through the standard macOS file dialogs. It runs inside the App Sandbox and has no access to any other files on your Mac.
Local app settings
The app stores a small amount of local preference data on your Mac, such as your selected app language and recent custom colors. This information is stored only on your device and is not sent to Icefish.
One-time purchase
If you choose to buy the Icefish Paint Pro lifetime unlock, Icefish Paint uses StoreKit 2 to request product information, process the one-time purchase, restore purchases, and check your lifetime entitlement with Apple. Icefish does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles transactions under Apple's own privacy terms.
Printing, sharing, and support
When you use Print or Share, your image is handed to the standard macOS print and share services that you invoke. The destination (for example a printer, AirDrop target, or Mail) is chosen by you.
If you contact us by email, we will receive whatever information you include in your message and use it only to respond to your support request.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Data deletion
You can delete your locally stored app data at any time by removing your image files and uninstalling the app. If you emailed support, you may also ask us to delete that correspondence from our records, subject to any legal obligations.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
